THE BRONX - A mother and daughter from the Bronx are thanking a very special woman in their lives.

Heava Challenger and her daughter, Tiffany, met 84-year-old Harriet Ross four years ago through the Citymeals on Wheels program.

The Challengers volunteer for the program, and they end every weekend spending time with Ross.

"She's like my second grandma," Tiffany says.

Ross, who uses a wheelchair, says she has no family left but says she now always looks forward to Saturdays and Sundays.

"It makes me feel very happy because I actually have no one, really," she says.
