THE BRONX - The property owner has spruced up a dirty lot in Concourse Village after News 12 stepped in to help frustrated neighbors.

The Gerard Avenue space, which belongs to Congregation Hope of Israel, had been overrun with garbage, dog waste and stray cats, but most of the trash has now been cleared away.

Residents say the work isn't done yet, and that the sidewalk still needs to be cleaned.
