'Queen of Salsa' Celia Cruz remembered with Google Doodle on 88th birthday

THE BRONX - The woman known as the "Queen of Salsa" is being remembered with a Google Doodle on what would have been her 88th birthday.

Cuban-American singer Celia Cruz is interred in a mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.

Cruz died of a brain tumor at the age of 77.

A celebration was held this past July to honor her life on the 10th anniversary of her passing.
