Questions surround basketball event in wake of fatal shooting

THE BRONX - Police are continuing to investigate the fatal shooting of a 4-year-old boy during a basketball charity event on Sunday and are raising more questions about who is responsible.

More than 100 people were gathered at the Forest Houses in Morrisania for the Ghetto Angels Tournament to honor 18-year-old Troynisha Harris, who was killed in 2010. Officials say the two-day memorial celebration was never authorized by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and that organizers never got a permit.

According to police, at least three people opened fire, killing Lloyd Morgan and injuring two others. Some neighbors say they believe the shootings may have been gang-related.
