THE BRONX - The family of Ramarley Graham returned to court for a federal civil suit being filed in connection with the teenager's death.

Family members are suing the city, former police Commissioner Ray Kelly, officer Richard Haste and other NYPD officers for wrongful death, assault, battery civil rights violations and negligence.

The judge reviewed a number of dates for the case, and consulted the prosecution and defense for their take on a private mediator to facilitate discussions and handle the case. A decision must be made by next week, and the Graham's attorney says he's confident in the progress made.

Graham was shot and killed by officer Haste in 2012 after being chased into his own home during a failed drug bust. The landlord of that house is also suing the city for warrantless entry.
