Ramarley Graham loved ones disappointed by manslaughter charges

THE BRONX - The NYPD officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Ramarley Graham has been arraigned, but many supporters say they were hoping for higher charges.

Family and friends of the slain Bronx teen have spent months rallying for justice and say that seeing their efforts come to light is surreal. However, they say the first- and second-degree manslaughter charges against officer Richard Haste are a disappointment.

Wakefield community members also said they are unhappy that bail was brought down to $50,000 from $75,000, which was originally proposed by the Bronx district attorney.

Despite what happened in court, loved ones say they'll stay positive and continue with their 18 weeks of protests. To watch an interview with Ramarley Graham's parents, click on iO Extra on Channel 612.
