THE BRONX - Cops have made an arrest in the shooting of a 79-year-old Bronx woman last month.

According to police, 24-year-old Ramel Deckard accidentally shot Norberta Duval while trying to rob someone else at gunpoint.

It happened near Yankee Stadium at River Avenue and East 163rd Street on Oct. 28.

Officials say Duval was struck in the side and did survive.

Deckard is facing a number of charges, including attempted murder.
