(08/20/07) THE BRONX ? The Fordham Rams football team held their second-to-last scrimmage Monday as their season opener gets closer.

Several questions still surround the squad, including question marks at quarterback and running back. The Rams, who went 3-8 last year, have nine returning starters who have to cope with a new offense. The team also has 17 true sophomores.

Despite some questions, Head Coach Tom Masella was pleased overall by the scrimmage.

?I thought we got a lot of good work done, and there?s obviously a lot to go,? said Masella.

The Rams open September 1 against Rhode Island.
