THE BRONX - A South Bronx arts group has finally found a temporary home in Claremont Village.

The Rebel Diaz Arts Collective is moving into the Bronx Music Heritage Center Lab at 1303 Louis Nine Blvd. The group says it was evicted from its previous place in February because the landlord blamed them for graffiti in the area.

Rebel Diaz is a collaborative group of hip-hop artists, educators and organizers who help young people in the community through art performances and educational workshops.

The collective will remain at its new residency for the next four months and will inaugurate the space with an open mic series Friday night.
