Regis Philbin returns to Bronx alma mater for dedication

THE BRONX - Legendary talk show host and Bronx native Regis Philbin returned to his alma mater today where he was honored with a special dedication.

Cardinal Hayes High School held a ceremony unveiling the newly named Regis Philbin Auditorium. Philbin was greeted by the school's marching band and presented with a plaque, varsity jacket and a standing ovation.

Students say the dedication is a reminder of what they are capable of accomplishing.
