Relief at the pump in sight for Bronx drivers

THE BRONX - Bronx drivers may soon get some relief at the pump, just in time for the summer driving season.

While the average price for a gallon of regular gas in the borough is still hovering above $4, gas futures fell below $3 per gallon for June today. Experts credit the decision to open flood gates along the Mississippi River, which dropped the price of oil on Wall Street.

Residents say relief can't come soon enough and they're hoping prices will stay down for the Fourth of July weekend.
