THE BRONX - Subway stations in the Bronx are the dirtiest in the entire city placing them dead last in terms of cleanliness, graffiti and litter, according to a new report by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

MTA inspectors found that the borough's subway stations passed cleanliness tests only 78.5 percent of the time in June, according to the figures released yesterday.

Officials say they have already started to clean up Bronx stations. About 42 of 71 stations have finished or are currently under rehabilitation.
