THE BRONX - According to a new report, New York City has been named the second-most congested city in the entire country and the Cross Bronx Expressway won the title of worst bottleneck in the nation.

Inrix, a technology and traffic information company, released the national scorecard today.

Topping the list as the slowest and most painful drive is the westbound Cross Bronx Expressway going toward the George Washington Bridge.

The report states that the relatively short journey of 11.3 miles could take more than an hour during rush hour. It also says the worst time to get on the Cross Bronx is between 4 p.m. -5 p.m. on Fridays.
