THE BRONX - A new hunger report shows that nearly one in four New York State households with children have a hard time consistently putting food on the table.

At a weekly food pantry at the Grand Concourse SDA Church, many people thought the numbers would have been even higher.

Some also said that food stamps simply aren't enough for families anymore.

The Food Research and Action Center also found that 15 percent of households without children face the same struggle.
