THE BRONX - The price of gas in the Bronx is on the rise.

According to a new survey, the average cost of a gallon of regular gas has gone up five cents in the last two weeks.

AAA lists the current average cost of gas in New York at $3.82. Last month, it was $3.74.

In the Bronx, gas is actually cheaper than the state average. One consumer-driven website lists gas as just $3.61 at a station on East Tremont Avenue. Three stations are selling gas at $3.65 a gallon.
