Report: New York high school graduation rate below national average at 77 percent
The majority of New York's high school students are graduating on time, but the state is still below the national average.
According to a new report released by several non-profit groups, 77 percent of seniors earned their diplomas in 2012. The national graduation rate is slightly higher at 80 percent.
