Rescuers use Jaws of Life to pull 3 from 2-car wreck

THE BRONX - Emergency workers say they used the Jaws of Life to pull three people, including a child, to safety after two cars crashed into a building this evening.

Police say it happened at 1809 Marmion Ave. just before 5 p.m.

Witnesses say one of the cars ran a stop sign and crashed into the other car.

The victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they're listed in serious condition. Police have not yet released the victims' identities.

Authorities say the accident remains under investigation.
