THE BRONX - Concerned Bronx residents and officers from the 41st Precinct took to the streets today to rally against gun violence that is plaguing their community.

The protesters, including clergy, parents and families impacted by gun violence, marched down the streets of Hunts Point to get their message across.

The march was organized by the 41st Precinct in response to a string of recent assaults and shootings in Hunts Point, Longwood and surrounding communities.

Those rallying hope their march for a peaceful community will leave a lasting impression, block by block. They also hope that, by marching in unison with 41st Precinct officers, others will be encouraged to become more involved in helping their local precinct.
