THE BRONX - Bronx residents awoke to chilly temperatures Sunday.

Many donned winter jackets and hats as they headed outdoors.

News 12 spoke with some waiting for a bus who say their wait feels longer as the temperatures drop.

Temperatures will remain in the 40s Sunday with a high of 49 degrees.
