CLAREMONT - Muslims from across the Bronx and the tri-state area gathered in Claremont Park to mark the end of Ramadan.

Ramadan is one of the biggest holidays for Muslims. It marks a time to remember those who suffer, reflect on life and show commitment to God. They can only eat twice a day and never in daylight during the holiday.

After spending time praying Friday, those in attendance were able to sit back, relax and enjoy some food and music. Food is at the center of the celebration of the festivities at the park.
