Residents complain over non-handicapped accessible overpass

THE BRONX - Residents in Soundview are sounding off over the lack of handicapped accessibility at the overpass over the Bruckner Expressway at Bruckner Boulevard and Elder Avenue.

Neighbors say that the overpass is hard enough for people with baby strollers and that it must be even more difficult for those in wheelchairs.

Residents say it is the only available crossing option since other overpasses are too far away.

They say accumulated trash on the overpass is another issue.
