THE BRONX - Residents in Highbridge are concerned with the appearance of a small park that is littered with garbage.

The small park area on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard has a scenic view looking over the Major Deegan Expressway, but clothes, beer cans and liquor bottles litter the area.

Miguel Ortiz says the park has been in bad condition for the past 10 years he has lived in the neighborhood.

"It's a lot of families around here and it's unfair that we have to live with this every day and no one takes responsibility for the park. If one voice gets it done, that will be good for me," says Ortiz.

News 12 has learned that Senior Living Options owns the property, as well as an apartment building near the park.
