Residents concerned about shaky railing

THE BRONX - A shaky railing in a building under construction has residents worried about their safety.

Residents say the building at 150 West 225th St. has been under construction since 2008. Contractors working on the building left a railing for a balcony unfinished. Residents say they are worried the unfinished railing will blow onto their homes or in the street.

The Department of Buildings says construction has stopped after it issued a stop work order against the owners, Promenade Apartments Inc., for faulty scaffolding.
