THE BRONX - While three people are recovering from a two-car accident at Marmion Avenue and 175th Street yesterday, residents are calling for changes to prevent more incidents.

Neighbors say many people speed on 175th Street and people traveling south on Marmion Avenue can't see because of a blind spot caused by cars parked on 175th Street.

"This is not the first time an accident has happened," says Tioga Davis. "It has happened numerous times on this very same corner."

Residents are calling on the Department of Transportation to install speed bumps on the road or install a traffic light in the hopes of preventing future accidents.
