THE BRONX - Residents say they are fed up with trash on their streets. But it?s not garbage that?s piling up, it?s recyclable material.

Residents in Westchester Square say their recyclable material has not been picked up since Saturday. Heavy winds have caused many bags to tear open and spread across the area.

The Department of Sanitation says it observed Lincoln?s birthday Saturday and did not pick up the trash. It says collection will resume this weekend.
