Residents of the Sonia Sotomayor House have been without gas since Friday.Con Edison says it shut off the gas because a corroded pipe was leaking

SOUNDVIEW - Residents of the Sonia Sotomayor House have been without gas since Friday.

Con Edison says it shut off the gas because a corroded pipe was leaking gas into the building. The city says the service will be restored when it can determine its safe enough to do so.

There are more than 50 families who live in the apartment complex at 1775 Bruckner Blvd.
