Residents: Missing stop sign causing traffic troubles

THE BRONX - Residents say a toppled stop sign at a busy Bronx intersection has created a haven for car accidents.

The sign, which is lying on the ground, is located at the intersection of Jerome and Cromwell avenues.

One resident, who said the stop sign has been down since Tuesday, called 311 but was told that it was not a priority and the repair would take three-four days.
