THE BRONX - Residents say there is not enough security staff in Bronx parks.

The borough has more than 7,000 acres of parkland. Park advocates say there is often only one parks official for the entire borough. Their job can be dangerous when they have to remove drunk or homeless people from the area, according to park advocates.

The Department of Parks and Recreation says it has 18 trained officers assigned to the Bronx.
