THE BRONX - Residents in the Twin Parks Housing Complex on East 181st Street say building management is tossing out personal information without permission.

Residents say they are disgusted to have found rent receipts, documents with Social Security numbers and bills in file cabinets near the trash. They say the information is clearly visible on the documents.

Residents say they want their personal information shredded and disposed of properly. Many residents say the documents could be used in identity theft.

Adding insult to injury, residents say the trash containing the personal information is blocking doors, making it difficult for them to leave the building.

The building management has not yet returned calls for a comment.
