Residents: Pedestrian dangers on East Tremont Ave.

THE BRONX - Residents are concerned about what they call a dangerous stretch of road on East Tremont Avenue after three pedestrians were hit last night.

A mother, toddler and another woman were hit by a vehicle as they attempted to cross the road near Westchester Square. All three only suffered minor injuries.

However, residents say speeding vehicles are a concern. Approximately 40 people have been injured since 1995, according to the Transportation Alternatives Crash Statistics website.
