Residents prepare for another sweltering day

THE BRONX - Residents took varying measures to cool off today as they prepare for another summer scorcher tomorrow.

Temperatures hit 90 degrees and are expected to rise to 94 tomorrow. The heat will decrease beginning Friday and finish off the weekend with average summer temperatures.

Residents said they used air conditioners, fans and drank plenty of water to stay cool. Some also enjoyed local pools and beaches during the hot weather.
