Residents upset at illegal dumping by Van Nest Bridge

THE BRONX - Residents are upset at the illegal dumping of garbage by the Van Nest Bridge and they want it cleaned up.

The bridge, which connects Van Nest and Parkchester, is used by drivers and pedestrians. However, residents say many are dumping bags of garbage near the bridge at night.

The Department of Sanitation says it is monitoring the situation.
