Residents want light at unsafe intersection

THE BRONX - Residents living near the intersection of 183rd Street and Sedgwick Avenue say it?s very dangerous and should have a traffic light.

The North West Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition say that nearly 11 accidents have occurred at the intersection since the late 1990s, and some have involved pedestrians.

With schools and a day care near by, residents fear if something isn?t done about the dangerous intersection soon, someone, possibly even a child could get killed.
