THE BRONX - The borough's first public ice rink could soon be skating its way into Van Cortlandt Park.

Residents were given a chance to weigh in on the proposal during a Community Board 8 meeting last night.

A temporary rink was set to open by the end of last year, but that project was shelved after the city Parks Department said it couldn't supply enough power to operate it.
