Residents: Work at Norwood park taking too long

NORWOOD - Residents in Norwood are protesting against the city saying the ongoing work at Williamsbridge Oval Park is taking too long to finish.

Members of the "Friends of Williamsbridge Park" group rallied yesterday to demand renovations are finished by end of the school year, which is June 28. The protesters say kids in the area need the park.

The seemingly finished playground currently remains blocked by a chain link fence.

The subcontractor for the project says the winter weather caused delays, and expects the renovations to be completed in July.
