THE BRONX - A Bronx restaurant triumphed over tragedy by giving back to its Indian-American community.

Lotus Flame restaurant in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx hosted its second annual Holi celebration despite sustaining damage from a fire back in January.

Holi is a Hindu holiday that marks the beginning of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

Attendees wearing white to represent purity threw rainbows of powder in the air and on each other and gave each other a kiss as a sign of peace and love.
