THE BRONX - The reward for information leading to an arrest in the rape of a 12-year-old girl has risen to $12,000. 

As News 12 has reported, investigators say the girl was sexually assaulted by a suspect believed to be a teenager. It happened in West Farms at around 6 p.m. last Tuesday. 

According to police, the victim was on her way home from school when the boy grabbed her, shoved her into alley and raped her. The two were caught on surveillance video in the area around Daly Avenue and East 179th Street.
