Richard Green J.H.S. receives $800,000

THE BRONX - Students at Richard Green J.H.S. will soon have a new library and media center thanks to a generous donation of $800,000 from Councilman Larry Seabrook.

The new library and media center will allow students to video conference with others from across the globe. Before receiving the check, students did not have access to computers. The funds will benefit the entire school, students said.

Students will be able to compete in the 21st century with the new facilities, teachers noted. In addition, teachers say the new facility will help keep kids off the streets.
