THE BRONX - A group of Riverdale tenants held a rally in the snow today to demand that their landlord provide heat to their apartments.

The tenants claim that their landlord, Jonathan Wiener, does not provide heat or hot water to the more than 20 apartment buildings he owns.

The protesters came equipped with signs and a 300-signature petition, but Wiener's office was locked. The petition was eventually handed over to a company representative from Chestnut Holdings.

Wiener says he is willing to meet with the tenants in the next two weeks. He maintains that his buildings are well run and that his tenants are being manipulated by the Organization Community Action Safety Apartments.
