Robber targets 3 banks in Bronx, Manhattan in 24 hours
THE BRONX - Police are trying to find a man who they say is behind a bank robbery pattern.
The robber allegedly hit three banks in less than 24 hours, including the Bank of America branch at 3508 Johnson Ave. in Riverdale.
Police say the incident happened last Thursday afternoon.

The man walked into the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money. When the teller refused to cooperate, he ran. Police say he also unsuccessfully tried to rob an upper Manhattan bank less than 20 minutes later.
Last, he hit a Capital One bank near Grand Central the next day. This time, police say he got away with $2,800.
Police say he's five foot seven feet tall with a medium build and a goatee.
