Rock traps worker in trench on Grand Concourse

THE BRONX - A rock fell on a worker and trapped him in a trench at a Grand Concourse construction site Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at 1455 Grand Concourse just before 2 p.m.

Witnesses say the worker inside the trench was working on a pipe when the rock fell on him.

News 12 was told that the victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital and is in serious condition.
