SHELTON, Conn. - The next Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has been selected and is making its way to midtown Manhattan.

Chopper 12 was overhead as the 80-foot Norway spruce was chopped down in Shelton, Conn. and placed on the back of a tractor-trailer headed toward New York City.

It's the second time in six years that a tree from that town has been chosen to be the center of the plaza's holiday display.

The tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 4.
