THE BRONX - Saint Jerome's Catholic School is in danger of closing if the school doesn't come up with the necessary funds to remain open.

The school needs $1.5 million in order to keep its doors open. Saint Jerome's was notified in November and was given a month-and-a-half to formulate a plan that would keep the school in business.

Many parents say that they feel that the deadline given by the Archdiocese of New York does not give the school a chance.

If the money is not raised in time, Saint Jerome's could close its doors at the end of the school year.
