THE BRONX - A Bronx seventh-grade class trying to Skype with Pope Francis has gotten a step closer to its mission.

After the students at Saint Raymond's tweeted their video of appreciation to the pope, the Vatican Press Office in Italy tweeted back to thank them.

The video has also gotten many re-tweets and views.

The students say their goal isn't to go viral, or claim any Internet fame. They just want a chance to speak with the pontiff and get his advice as they prepare for confirmation.
