Sam's flooring celebrates 63 years in Bronx

THE BRONX - A Bronx family business is celebrating 63 years in the borough.

Sam?s flooring has been providing floors and carpets for buildings throughout New York City. The company recently worked on new carpeting in the locker rooms for Yankee stadium.

Owners Ronnie Aquino and Carmine Rossi say they are proud their business has survived a recession that crippled many others. Aquino says while prices have fluctuated greatly in the last couple years, their business has stood the test of time in the borough.
