Science and math library opens in The Bronx

BRONX - A new library focusing on science and math opened Tuesday morning in The Bronx.

The state-of-the-art library features smart board technology, Apple iMac and Hewlett Packard computers as well as books for both high school and college-level courses.

Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The borough office allocated $660,000 for the library and Councilwoman Helen Foster provided $440,000.
