THE BRONX - A Bronx seamstress has combined her love for fashion with an inspiration from her homeland.

Julian Gravesande creates handbags in her Baychester home and studio.

Her line, Moruka Designs, is named after a river in her home country of Guyana.

She says she draws inspiration from where she has been and where she is going.
