Search intensifies for 2 men wanted in cab robberies

THE BRONX - Police are trying to track down two men believed to be behind a string of livery cab robberies in The Bronx.Detectives say three livery cab drivers were robbed at gunpoint in The Bronx last week. In two of the instances, police say the same suspect held up drivers on the Grand Concourse service road near 175th Street.

Police the second suspect robbed a driver on University Avenue by 181st Street.In all three instances, investigators say the suspects waved firearms and demanded cash and property from the drivers. Police have released photos of the two suspects, who are described as black males.Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.2 men wanted in separate livery cab holdups
