Security video released in June Concourse Village robbery and assault

Police say the suspect attacked and robbed a woman inside her apartment. (7/7/13)

CONCOURSE VILLAGE - Police are looking for the suspect in a June robbery and assault in Concourse Village and they have released new security video in hopes someone will recognize him.

On June 28, police say the suspect forced his way inside an apartment on Carrol Place. Once inside, he allegedly grabbed a 29-year-old woman by the hair and threatened her with a knife, demanding money.

Police say he then dragged the victim to a bedroom and assaulted her before taking off with her money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man around 36 years old. He's about 5 feet 7 or 8 inches tall, with a heavy build and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing gloves, sunglasses and a Kangol hat.
