THE BRONX - The state Senate took a big step toward curbing the use of banned alcoholic beverages.

The Senate passed a bill Monday stating that anyone caught selling the banned drinks can face one to three years in prison. Sen. Jeff Klein says the drinks - like Four Loko - are most popular among underage drinkers.

The bill must now be passed in the Assembly.
